Carnatic Flute artists – Herambh and Hemanth
For the 2025 Spring season opener we have two young Carnatic Flute artists – Herambh and Hemanth in a duet performance.
They will be accompanied by virtuosos, Thanjavur K Murugaboopathi on Mridangam and N Guruprasad on Ghatam.
Heramb and Hemanth, affectionately known as the Flute Brothers, are a Carnatic flute duo from Coorg, India. They have established themselves as the only twin flute duo in the Carnatic music scene today.
Thanjavur K. Murugaboopathi (Mridangam): Sri Murugaboopathi is one of today's leading mridangam artists. His dynamic performances have earned him critical acclaim worldwide.
N.Guruprasad(Ghatam):
N. Guruprasad is a distinguished ghatam artist, renowned for his unobtrusive yet highly supportive playing that enhances the overall musical experience on stage.
He has accompanied numerous esteemed artists across various fields of Carnatic music.
